The American Warmblood Society is a non-profit Sport Horse corporation
founded in 1983 and dedicated to the Olympic Sport Horse. As one of the
International voices of the Sport Horse community, the AWS promotes,
represents and registers Sport Horses for the Olympic Sports and Combined
Driving worldwide and is actively involved in issues of Breeding Selection,
Performance Indexing, Research and continuing Education in the Sport Horse
industry.
The ultimate goal of the AWS is to assist members in producing the finest
International Equine Competitors. By never sacrificing the classical
methods of breeding and never making recommendations or pre-judgments
concerning specific breeds. The AWS is proud to know that members are:
