AWS ANNOUNCES:
2008 Volunteer of the Year Award

Mark Susol, PA

The AWS has had 100's of volunteers who have helped mold the AWS over the years. The AWS appreciates all it's volunteers and it is always difficult to select an outstanding individual at year end who has done the most and deserves this special recognition. In 2008 Mark & Evelyn Susol, PA have earned this honor through their dedication and hard work. The Susols not only hosted and organized another successful AWS inspection, but they also represented AWS at "Dressag at Devon" in 2008 and presented the AWS awards to the outstanding winners.

For several years the Susols have organized AWS inspections and are especially helpful to the participants. They emailed each participant detailed information explaining check in time, presentation of horses, awards procedure, branding, food availability (caterer - breakfast & lunch), what the horse health requirements are for entering their facility and, oh yes, please leave your dogs at home. Everything is very professionally done.

Mark and Evelyn owned the "Approved for Breeding" stallion Manahawk /*/*/*/ / / (recently deceased) and have completed the "Approved for Breeding" process for their three year old stallion Talladega /*/*/ / / / (Manahawk /*/*/*/ / / (Approved, Elite) / Kizzy) Talladega /*/*/ / / / is the 2008 In-Hand Stallion of the year. Talladega is also offered in the 2009 Stallion Service Auction, check it out.

The AWS looks forward to many more years of association with the Susols. We are pleased that they are part of the success of the AWS and are proud to offer them appreciation through this honor. Congratulations and continued success in all Mark & Evelyn's deavors.
