AWS ANNOUNCES:
2007 Breeder of the Year Award
Congratulations to Sarah & Gerd Reuter, European Performance Horses, LLC, of Virginia for being the AWS Breeder of the year for the third time since 2004. Sarah & Gerd rode outstanding performance horses in Dressage for many years and now are breeding quality sport horses. The AWS is most fortunate to have such knowledgeable horse persons as faithful members.
The five top foals used in the calculation scored well at their inspections, 2 obtained supreme level (80%+) and 3 obtained the Blue Preferred level (75% - 79.999%). The average score was 79.64%. The Ruters use their outstanding AWS "Approved for Breeding" Stallions and Mares in their incredible breeding program.
The "Breeder of the Year" this year is determined by using each breeders top five (5) AWS registered off-spring that were registered and scored in 2007.
There were 6 qualifying breeders in this years calculations. We thank all of you. All of these breeders are doing a good job in their breeding programs producing quality American Warmbloods. Continued success in 2008.
